Grab this Lifeline!
One of my favorite Bible stories, since childhood is the Parable of the Wise Builder. I suggest you watch this animated version of the story first then come back to this post.
After Jesus spoke of what is expected of those who are of His kingdom, He said that those who hear and do as He says shall be like the wise builder. It is not an easy thing to follow; it requires hard work like digging for the foundation of a house, however it is the only way to establish the foundation. Jesus Christ is the rock of our foundation. He is reaching out to us with the gospel, the power of God to our salvation to everyone who believes. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). When the storm comes, our foundation will prove strong and hold us up.

ife, when we find ourselves in the middle of trouble whether it is caused by others or ourselves, this saying of Jesus is our lifeline. Believe Jesus Christ is Savior who can rescue us whatever situation or state we are in and is Lord who leads us the right way to go. Therefore, hear and do as He says in His word, the Bible- this is our lifeline. Grab hold of it.
